Letterboxd for iOS puts the popular social network for film lovers on your iPhone or iPad, so you can log films and catch up on your friends’ activity with ease.   Memory leak?

  I love this app so much, the person who said the interface needs to be more like “other social media apps” can shove it, please never change Letterboxd. Probably the ideal app format for any sort of media logging. That said: I couldn’t find the proper place to report bugs, but the app performance significantly degrades after ~10 minutes of use. If, for example, I’m reordering films in a list, it will start out fine and then lag worse and worse and worse until I have to quit the app and reopen. My guess is memory mismanagement, but idk. Reading reviews doesn’t have this issue so I’m not sure how big of a priority it would be for the dev team, but it would be nice if it didn’t happen!

  Apple TV Version

  The app seems alright, but why doesn’t the Apple TV version have links to watch the movies? Search engines have a “where to watch” feature for movies, and it seems Letterboxd would level up by providing this functionality on app, especially on the Apple TV app.

  Concern but so good

  This app is so good! The only thing that I think could make the app even better is a draft holder for when you want to come back to your review. They do have a part where you can edit your review but I need something to hold my review because sometimes I like to review as I am watching the movie(s) not always after I’m done.

  Stop the lag!

  I love this app so much but recently it’s been lagging!!! Sometimes it won’t open and I have to restart the app or when I add to a list it doesn’t show up right away. This is very upsetting. It’s also been glitching a lot.

  SHADOW BANNED FOR NO REASON

  So I posted a review on the film CITIZEN VIGILANTE and it was the most level headed honest review I could write. I was attack by a bunch of other users who were EXTREMELY political. So I clapped back, and now my account is the one that’s comment banned. Then I dig deeper and I find that Letterboxd is actually explicitly ANTI-WHITE. They are RACIST!! I don’t support racism in any way shape or form. Spare yourself from both the team and the users and DO NOT GET THIS APP. There are many others like it.

  Great app!! We need a slot or whatever for tv series!! We don’t want a separate app for it.

  Loveeeee this app but a few changes could make it even better!

  1- I really wish there was a way to ask questions to other watchers without having to leave a review. (Leaving a review automatically marks the movie as watched. that way a movie that I haven’t watched doesn’t goes into my watched list) Honestly that’s it
