  Love the concept and app but

  The app is amazing way to keep all your podcasts in one place on one app. However it still is glitchy. No matter which of my podcasts I’m playing it will repeat segments a couple times throughout and then cut off the end of the podcast and not play through to the true end. If this issue got fixed it would be perfect.

  You Don’t know, what you don’t know!

  I absolutely love The Hidden Brain app. I, of course enjoy listening to topics of interest, but I also enjoy listening to many topics I know little or nothing about. This app has broadened my knowledge and understanding regarding many global issues I would not normally learn about. I let the new topics be my choice several times a month. Give it a try!

  Ad Prison

  You are forced to watch a “30 second ad“ to access the app, but there’s no way to escape the ad either before 30 seconds or after. You’re still forced to go to the App Store for the ad, then cancel out of that. You’ll spend at least a minute and a half escaping the prison.

  Ads don’t close, have to restart app

  I’ve really liked this app in the past but the past couple months the number of ads has skyrocketed and they hijack your phone and don’t give you an option to close out of them. The only way to get out of the ad and back to the app itself is to restart the app completely. It’s truly unusable. Scanning other reviews, it seems like many others are having this problem, despite the company saying this is an unexpected occurrence that shouldn’t be happening. If this many people are bringing it up and it hasn’t been addressed I’m interpreting that as a deliberate choice. Will be looking elsewhere.
