  Bugs — not sure if it’s the app or website itself. I rented a place on VRBO. I got an e-mail in my personal account saying the owner sent me a message. However my inbox on VRBO was empty. I call customer support. They don’t know what’s wrong but they give me the owners number, to text. Then the messages show up on the VRBO app! So I have a question and I send a message via VRBO, the owner responds I can’t see the messages again. I’m glad I reached out to customer support. But I don’t think I should have had to, right? Just a little more runaround and time used around a seemingly painless process.

  My honest opinion

  The Rome was ok! Small but comfy! Pool area was nice, but security was rude about leaving the pool at 10pm. He told grown people to go to their rooms at 10pm, which I thought was ludicrous! Owners gave away drinks at the pool which was nice of them! Fishing, corn hole, grills, docking to Lagoon, and pickle ball all on property! Walk across street for easy beach access! If rooms had been a little more detailed with cleaning, and a TV in both bedrooms, I would have went 5 stars! Overall descent!
