  Purposely Misleading

  I rated it 5 stars so people can see it first thing. In reality, this only deserves 1. Maybe it is excellent when you pay for it, but for people who are just trying to get a free VPN, it is incredibly misleading. While using the free option, you can’t actually select which server to connect to. I want to select Japan, and even though it’s a “free” server, it’s literally just gambling to see which server I land on. It automatically connects me to the USA, and it tells you that you can switch the server. In reality, when you press change, instead of asking you to choose which free server to connect to, it just chooses another random free server.

  Variable Reliability

  When it works it works great. But too often it logs me out of my ipad Proton VPN app and says it’s been a while since you’ve logged in and I have to re-authenticate. When I do, I receive a connection error the first time. Then on the second try it connects. It’s repeatable but the support folks have offered no relief on it other than “it was referred to the development team”. No final outcome. The kill switch requirement to lose access to local vpn is reportedly due to Apple’s rules, but it actually has to do with the foundation of allowing access from an “allow everything” and then shutting off certain access versus “deny everything” and then allow access according to app and service rules with more control.

  Amazing bypass for Roblox VNG

  This app is great :) I got my fave games recently off from the app Roblox. But uhh when I used the vpn they got my chat + games back! Would be a 30 stars if I could :)
