  Worst application

  Anything good was said about this application is wrong. I had a subscription for premium for a couple of months and then the application was trying to promote me to premium AI, when I did that after payment for one year subscription, the application did not updated, and when I try to contact them, and after I filed too many times as I was, instructed nothing happened, and I was told that they will not respond to my requisition before three days.

  Bait & Switch

  I had difficulty signing in to the account. Customer Service is AI so nuanced problems are not solved. They also double billed me as I was in a spiral because my AMEX at first was declined but then approved??? The sign up process is not straightforward and they keep asking for more add ons when it’s difficult to figure out what is included. If they weren’t so greedy perhaps we can start the program and upscale later? As an update I did receive an answer from Jumpspeak. Was not sure if it was AI as the response was to the main customer service email. I guess they are robots??? I guess the app is programmed to oversell once a fish was on the line. It took them several weeks to respond.

  Not what it purports to be

  Sadly the program is about the same as Duolingo. If you want to spend twice as much money to use the AI I’m sure it’s amazing. But they push how great the AI is in their ads and don’t really tell you how the people who excel pay extra for what they imply is in the program you are paying for. Misleading at best. Not a program worth renewing.

  App of lost progress

  B4 the last update I had 238 consecutive days completing 100% of Beginner and 82% of Second level lessons. After update I’ve got 0% of Beginner and 36% of Second level. 0% support 😠

  Ridiculous

  Maybe it's just the Russian, but this app is ridiculous. It takes what you said and then answers in a way that has nothing to do with it. As if it had stock answers that you were adopted to say. So either the AI isn't trained yet, or it was very bad programming. I'm sorry I bought a year subscription.

  Sounds good but expensive

  I realize there are options got every budget but when you keep seeing something on your feed touting it’s the best you want to try it. No trial period, no monthly option… you either pay $89 for 3 months or $179 for a year. Give people with different budgets an option.

  Difficult to get started

  Trying to learn new languages is not easy. The app just seems to expect me to know how to pronounce and hear words without giving any lessons about how characters are supposed to sound. The conversation lessons are throwing in new words end expecting me to guess something that hasn’t been taught. The phrases seem random and there doesn’t seem to be any way for me to figure out what the conversations are trying to get me to say. Very frustrating, which is not very motivating.

  Need to add more variety to subscription values if that is the perferred way to generate revenue. Need month to month not just annual payments or trimester payments.
