Great App
My four year old can read small books now and my 2.5 year old was copying brother and can now sound out some words. Alphabet song is catchy too. Worth every penny.

A+ Science of Reading App
This app was incredibly instrumental in helping my daughter learn to read. We started at the end of Kindergarten when we noticed her having some struggles with sight word retention and blending sounds. In addition, she was resistant to support because she knew she was struggling and felt frustrated. This app changed the game for her! She enjoyed doing her lesson each day and she didn’t mind spending a few minutes each day practicing with the games. As a special ed teacher, I thought it would be easy to teach my daughter how to read, but it is very different when it is your own child struggling. I did my research on reading apps and programs and I found this app to be the best one out there. I appreciated getting the chance to do the daily lessons each day with my daughter. Knowing exactly what she was learning and how she was learning it, helped me know how to support her. The approach is rooted in the Science of Reading and that helped my daughter gain confidence as a reader. The app was adorable and engaging, but not overstimulating and gimmicky. It is well worth the price. I cannot recommend this app enough!!! My two pieces of advice…make sure you sit with your child each day to do this work together (it’s only 15-20 minutes a day) and then give them some independent time for the games. In addition, consistency is key! Be sure to keep up with it if you really want to see results!

Incredible app for little readers
I can’t say enough good things about this app! My daughter was already reading after just one month of using it. The lessons are engaging, easy to follow, and so effective. Thank you for creating such a wonderful app—we’re incredibly grateful!

Disappointed
When I come to any service for assistance, I’m expecting to see measurable results. This app did not provide that. I don’t believe my child skill level was considered at all in time was truly wasted on each lesson. I don’t feel my child walked away having learned anything, they didn’t already come knowing. If you’re looking for something challenging, especially for children that may struggle with ADHD this isn’t it

Just do it
I e been using this app since my little one was 3. He’s made so much progress since then!
- ★★★★★Too hands on for the parents
Too hands on
This just isn’t what I expected. I wanted them to be able to scroll over the word and hear the sound to help them sound it out and make sure they got it right. Instead the boys just scroll through and completed the lessons without saying the words because they figured out the buttons. I might as well just have them read a book in front of me. I was looking for something where they could learn independently, during the summer while I was at work, but they just pretended to complete the lessons because they figured out how the buttons worked to get through the lessons quickly.

Love, love, love!!
We seriously loved everything about this! We started with this app when my son was four, and we finished all 99 lessons over the course of about a year. By the end, my five year old was a READER! Before he even started kindergarten, he was able to read full picture books with relative ease! My only complaint is that I wish there were more lessons that began removing some of the supports so that the kids could become accustomed to reading without them (lines above long vowels, arch connecting digraphs, etc.) Great program that I highly recommend as both a parent and an elementary school teacher!
