  Not worth the money.

  This service does not work as described, still getting a ton of spam phone calls. The app is worthless and has redundant request that keeps recurring. Look elsewhere there has to be something better out there.

  Overpriced and not useful.

  The VPN is terrible and the virus scan is even less reliable. You run the virus scan on a windows computer with a 500GB hard drive and it takes HOURS to complete. And I do not mean 3-4 hours, I mean more than 20 hours for one scan. Then it finds nothing. The data removal is what I signed up for and it is terrible. You get notifications at all hours of the day and night. Almost always coming in between 2 to 6am. It says it needs your assistance with completing removals. You complete one request after another and it says the website may contact you by email. If the email responses even come, many of them have links that are expired. How are you supposed to complete a request for removals if the emails have broken links and the email address they provide for problems also comes back undelivered IF the request is submitted and received successfully? This app isn’t worth $5 a month. Let alone more than $100 for the year.

  Mixed Bag

  The greatest value I get from Aura is their diligence to stopping vulnerable and annoying data mining. I had to turn the VPN off my and my kid’s phones bc it bogs phones and PC browsers down so badly. What Aura did while typing was so off the wall. Beyond causing an unforgivable lag, it has autocorrected words, sentences and then paragraphs to a point of insane frustration and nonsensical BS, to say the least. It happened with a business email and that was the last straw. The hassle isn’t worth the expense by a long shot. I no longer have the protection or parental settings I thought justified that price and I need to resubscribe to unencumbering service I had before getting Aura.

  Do not use for passwords management. Keeps old passwords when updated. Makes it impossible to know which one is the right one. It’s going to take forever to delete old password and get this sorted! A total fiasco!
