  Too much AI, not enough humanity!

  Meetup gives a ridiculous cheap 7 day free trial. Mistakes Galore, and NO human response In that limited time, the one event I managed to host had BOTH a wrong address and wrong directions! AI tried to blame Google Maps, never heard back from a human being who can actually solve problems- still got charged anyway, and am now requesting a refund- stay away from Meetup!

  Not worth it

  I downloaded the app and did the 7 days trial. I canceled before the trial ending and still they charged me $9.99 dollars. Stay away from even trying it. The amount is not refundable. Apple Pay refuses to refund the amount despite the fact I cancel before trial ending. Bad business practice.

  Don’t like the changes

  The app is OK, but then they put up a paywall about one and 1/2 o two years ago. It’s very annoying. I mean they’re already getting paid from people who are organizers and ads, so why are they trying to get people to have a Meetup plus subscription. I understand th that they want to ask as a business but repeatedly doing it doesn’t make me wanna do it. It just annoys people and encourages me to tell people to use a different app instead of Meetup.

  Didn't find what I was looking for

  So I downloaded Meetup, trying to find a fan group. I did find one, but it's not local to my area. Please fix this so it's not an issue. I'm not satisfied with my Meetup experience

  There was a time when you could see who was attending an event. Now they have outrageous costs for privileges.

  I’m moving soon and I can’t change my location I’ve opened up the setting and there’s no general account info to change where I’m located

  It was so much better before

  The app used to work fine but they redid everything and now it’s very hit or miss if you get notifications, even though everything is turned on. It’s also super annoying how it constantly tries to get you to sign up for a monthly fee just to see who is going to an event

  Poor navigation / Money Grab

  Use to be great, but like everyone has mentioned this app has been on a steady decline, in organization, and navigation. Every update feels like an attempt to squeeze as much money from the user.
