  Remove chat gpt. I understand it’s optional to use but I don’t want it there at all. I want it gone. I don’t want random message tab with chat GPT that drives me insane that I can’t hide it, i don’t want the bar on bottom show the icon in the center. Make it gone. I will never use it, never did. I don’t want my viber looking like bot. Viber app looks like spam right now filled with ads, chat gpt and business inbox you can’t remove and you don’t use. It’s time to delete the app and move to another app. I permanently deleted snapchat for this exact reason after using it for 15 years.

  Forced AI integration without consent

  Viber pushed ChatGPT features on me that is intrusive. It is impossible to delete ChatGPT from my chat list. ChatGPT will appear in my chats with other users asking me to prompt things like remixing pictures. The app errors when I try to disconnect ChatGPT in the settings. Effectively, there is no option to fully remove the ChatGPT integration, which makes the app feel less user-friendly and takes away control from users. I cannot recommend the app.

  AI JUNK

  Viber was a great app until now. They have added ChatGPT and it basically fills the chat window with senseless garbage with no way to delete it. I turned it off in the settings menu and it still does it. Also when you click the disconnect ChatGPT it doesn’t and tells you it can’t because something went wrong. Looks like I’ll go back to using Line.

  Nobody asked for your AI slop. We know that the only way Viber is providing ChatGPT to users “for free” is by selling our data to OpenAI. Nobody wants this malignant technology built in. Will be deleting my Viber account and removing the app from my phone. Genuinely disgusted.

  Functional with a few caveats

  So I’ve been using this since most of my workmates prefer this over other messaging applications, and sure, it does what it says on the box- no more, no less. On what isn’t value adding though- the ads are so pervasive that simple holiday greetings in messages would instantly turn into links to [insert business brand here]. Add to that the new and trendy addition of a fan-favourite: generative machine-learning! I’m on the fence on totally leaving this app behind by this point to be honest.
