  Disappointed

  Interface is strange, not very customizable. Customer service is useless. My account got suspended because I tried to use the app out of the country, apparently that's a no-no. Customer service could do nothing to unlock it. Returned to the states and it was still locked. I deleted my account and tried to create a new one and received an error code. Disappointing all around. Would not recommend.

  Call quality is terrible. People on the other line can never hear me or they tell me that the call volume is low. Ads are ridiculous. A couple to a few ads are fine, but the amount of ads I receive the moment I log into this app is horrific. I’m trying to get right with TextNow (which was the only reason why I’m using TextFree). I’m having a difficult time logging into my TextNow account. So while I am trying to situate that, I’m using this dingy app (TextFree). Hopefully not for long. I don’t like giving everyone my real number. That’s what these apps are for.

  I love this app. It’s very effective for texting friends and friend groups. The problem is non of the photos I send on the app load. It’s been happening for a year now. Please fix it. Other than that Great app. ❤️ Pleo cat.

  It’s a good texting app and all, but because one of the features that make you pay for is kinda defeats the purpose of making it a texting app. Making you pay to manage subscriptions is kinda making it seem like a money grabber, it’s just so bothering, I can’t even use a different texting app with the same phone number, I do enjoy it and all, but yeah
