  I have an iPad that I am unable to update any further and the newest app update requires iOS 18 or above. I use my iPad for all of my travel planning and I am so disappointed that I won’t be able give my business to AirBnB anymore.

  Allows unprompted canceling of stays by host

  Was set to stay at an Airbnb in Dallas during the World Cup. Reserved and paid for stay in September of last year. The host canceled and relisted same days and times but at 3x the original price to during the event. AirBnB refused to give full refund. Shady and capitalistic behavior.

  Too much misconduct

  I was planning a trip for next year for a festival and I started hearing a lot of complaints from multiple friends about issues with hosts canceling their reservations close to a big event then re-posting at a significantly higher price and Airbnb basically letting the hosts get away with it, basically not enforcing their own policies. Did some more research, there are a lot more similar complaints than I expected. Used to be a great resource for alternatives to hotels but sadly no longer. Deleting this app and going back to hotels instead

  Hosts are allowed to make deceptive claims about the property and they won’t cancel my reservation that I just made 10 minutes ago without charging me 100s of dollars. Such a scam!!
