So happy with the upgrade
Recently bought a telescope and was looking for a free app. Lite is a great version however I was soon hooked and wanted more. For a very reasonable price, I upgraded and have been thrilled with the app. Highly recommend!!

Excellently educational and
I’ve had this all on my phone for years and years. I am always amazed when I find myself exploring inside the app and it’s awesome to see others in awe when I’m able to identify and track a specific visible body in the sky. Very comprehensive descriptions and visual representations of the map of the sky—what is seen and not seen as you look up. Packed with features like Augmented Reality mode, nighttime lighting filters, orbit tracing, supplemental soundscapes, floating constellations, and much more. The app does not use or store any data from the user. Simply a must-have app!

Won’t calibrate to my location
App use to work really well up until the end of last year 2025. Now it says Ursa Major is behind me when it actually right in front of me. No matter how many times I re-calibrate to my location it still show stars in the wrong place. Please fix this or else it will be another star gazing app that gets deleted from my phone and I will tell all of my star gazing buddies to delete it too. Very disappointed.

Satellites.
I used to be able to see all the satellites on this app with my old phone. I redownloaded this app and still have satellites enabled but absolutely nothing pops up. Disappointing..

Missing a telescope?
It is a good app but the James Webb telescope is not part of the app. At least I can find the Hubble.

The best astronomy app.
This is one of the best ways to explore space, right at your fingertips. There’s no ads! You can explore, look at stars even during the broad daylight, you can find your favorite space objects, you can read information on rocket bodies, you can view planet alignments, you can even look at constellations, and an image of something, which, is supposed to resemble the constellations of which you are looking at. I never even knew that Orion was a constellation, therefore that Betelgeuse was within the constellation of Orion. I could not have guessed that Orion was a constellation, and Betelgeuse was a star inside Orion, was even a thing. That’s why I love Skyview. This is my favorite educational app I have ever downloaded. You can learn about ANYTHING about space, and watch the sky. I am telling you, Skyview is one of the best apps ever. You can view all of your favorite stars, galaxies, nebulae, planets, constellations, even literal rockets and satellites. I love that when the camera is off, the background looks, fantastic! I love how you can learn something by every tap. Find a star, tap it, and watch how all this information pops up. The name, its precise location and where it is going, and a cool fun fact. Observe. Observe the true nature of this app. Skyview is awesome. How many times did I say this apps name?

Literally the Best Space App
I absolutely love this app because I personally love space and this app shows me everything. Tonight I saw two really bright stars and wanted to find out which planets they were. It turns out that it was Jupiter and Venus! I love this app because it tells you about the planets, satellites, and the stars. It even has NO ADS! That is a big win win! Definitely the best space app for any universe lover out there! #1!

Broken
I don’t know why the app all of a sudden is broken. It’s stuck on north. Doing the same thing in the NASA app.
