  Support issues

  I’ve looked everywhere for support. A way to reach out to the developer for help and I can’t find anything. We booked two tours through a travel agent and I can’t see any way to add them to the app in my phone. It would be great is someone knows the answer or if these reviews are monitored and it gets to support. I’d love to have an excuse to change my star rating.

  System Glitch

  Twice Bitten Booked a day trip to Dover from London 2 times in a week with this app and both times were very disappointing. The first one I was told the system double booked for that day and that my group could not be accommodated. The second one I booked the system didn’t hold the date I entered and right after checkout I noticed the date was for the very next day. Problem was I would not be in London for another month. I used the chat feature on the app. Long story short they would not solve my issue kept my money and put the blame the tour company. The tour company put the blame on Viator. At the end of the day, No money, no trip, no help, just two days of heartache.

  I used Viator app to book 3 separate tour experiences in Europe. Only 1 of the 3 actually lived up to the description online. And, looks like Viator is not standing behind what was advertised on their site.

  Great App and Great Experiences

  I’ve started traveling internationally in the last year or so and the Viator App makes it easy to book local experiences and get a wonderful experience. The guides are always friendly and knowledgeable and the options plentiful for what I want to do. Sometimes I can’t spend a full day exploring so the options that are just a few hours work really well for me! Also as a solo traveler, I feel safe and comfortable in the environment. Super important!

  No support when something goes wrong

  Recently had a tour operator cancel with no notice, rebooked with another provider the next day and they no-showed. Viator support was of no help other than to confirm the refund was processing. If something goes wrong, it’s on the customer to find another option and pay whatever the last-minute rate is. You think they’d at least offer a significant discount for these situations. As it stands, I don’t see the point of booking through Viator, just use it to find yours then book directly with the operator.

  Viator is The best travel site

  When you need an excursion or something to do whether local or international. This site def doesn’t disappoint. Price point is fair and plethora of choices for everyone in your group. I’ve used it abroad in Dominican Republic, France, Colombia, Ireland, and Spain! Never disappointed and have nothing but great memories of my trips!
