  Convenient use but fees poorly explained

  The app provides a convenient way to transfer money internationally however the fees are poorly explained. When initiating US$ to EU€ transfers, the app shows a wire as the least expensive option and less expensive the ACH transaction. In reality, a bank may charge $30 for a wire on their end and also, the 4 hour time window provided is not sufficient. Wise warns you of future more expensive transaction fees if you cancel but they do not well explain the fees associated in advance and again, the time window of 4 hours is unrealistic and Wise is not informing you of that. As such - you end up with $30+ and more in hidden fees and exchange rate changing on you.

  There’s no option to receive an email to login and verify. Please add this. I’m moving to another country and can’t get in without my phone and I can’t use this phone in that country so now I’m stuck. Should just be able to receive an email.

  This is the best way to convert American money into pesos that I’ve found since moving to Mexico five years ago. Wise gives the best exchange rate always, it’s quick efficient and they’re never any problems. I highly recommend it for anyone either living here while still maintaining an American bank account or for people traveling.
