  Anti-user - Passkeys

  Forcing users to set up passkeys (usually by downloading the mobile app) is incredibly anti-consumer. There is no reason the website platform should not be accessible using username and password + 2 factor authentication. If this account was not created through my employer I would move it to another platform today. I will be sure to include this information to my employer on our yearly survey and recommend we switch providers. Many employees share the same sentiment. On top of that, not being able to invest our funds as we choose is also not competitive, plus requiring minimum of $1000 in cash sitting doing nothing. It should at least earn a competitive yield of 3%+ but only yields 0.05%. Previous employer used fidelity, which allowed users to invests in stocks as they choose with no minimum threshold. Extremely disappoint with HealthEquity so far.

  Brutally bad

  Changing any security settings leaves users in an endless loop. Avoid using the app if possible. I have to call their support multiple times of the years to get account unlocked. The app does not play well with APIs as a result of their poor security settings.

  HealthEquity sucks

  Can’t login on the first try almost ever, UI is terrible, fees are outrageous. Unfortunately my company uses this horrible platform. But for those of us in the same boat, there is an escape! Transfer your HSA money to Fidelity! You can do this via indirect rollover to avoid the $25 fee, or you can look into getting Fidelity to reimburse you for the fee. Get your money out of HealthEquity!

  They killed it

  I am not interested in setting up a "passkey" for my account. The security level of my account, and I repeat MY ACCOUNT, should be my choice. I am going to close my entire account with your company because everything about it has gotten worse. I am glad the few customers you will have left will feel secure. Good job🤦‍♀️

  Can’t add a Passkey

  Passkey is not compatible with Microsoft Authentificator. The only other option is to scan a code, but - geniuses - how can we scan a code if the app is on the phone we use?? So cannot use the app anymore now.

  Absolute Worst Flex Account App Ever

  Over the course of the years I’ve used many flexible spending account apps. Health equity is easily the worst I’ve ever used. I have never been able to login without changing my password. Their technical support is terrible. I feel like it’s just a waste of money going into this account.
