  This app almost never works. I love the idea of having all New York sports knitted together in one place, but it is executed so, so poorly. I can stream 4K on YouTube tv, but on the same set of devices and internet the app struggles a choppy feed. You throw in the fact that this PAID SERVICE FLASHES AN ADVERTISEMENT BEFORE IT STARTS STREAMING, and I think this might be the largest case of buyer’s remorse I’ve experienced in a long time. I’m shocked at how highly rated this app is in the store and can only imagine they have paid/inflated/used bots or something to raise the rating bc nobody I know, myself included, believes this is anything but a failed product. Please just get Fubo or cable and don’t waste your money on this.

  Necessary evil

  Have to use this app to watch the Yankees but it’s awful, like many other reviews say. Cuts out all the time and I have log in several times per game, freezes a bunch (it’s not my WiFi, everything else works fine), I get the “snow” screen. And there’s such a delay - I see a notification on my phone that someone scores and then a minute later the score happens. Will not renew, just listen on the radio, it’s free.

  Sound annoyances

  The app is OK, and I appreciate being able to watch the Yankees games. I am not sure if this is an app issue or not. The sound mix is annoying. The announcers are too soft and the crowd noise too loud. When you turn up to hear the announcers better, you get blasted by how loud the commercials are.
