Great! but...
Really awesome in the gym wish I could add my cardio in here too to be able to track everything in 2 spots (got the macro app too which is 5 stars no doubt)

Will be great eventually
Huge glitch. I’ve been a MF user for dieting for about 2 years. I’m sure I’ll eventually not need it but it’s so helpful I’ve justified the $12/mo cost to keep it for that entire time. But a black eye experience has been constantly getting signed out of the workout app and having to attempt to restore my subscription, which it fails to do constantly. It has made it difficult to rely on this app when my other workout tracker works 100% of the time and it’s free. Devs need to figure this out - why is my MF account having so many issues translating to the workout app? Once fixed I’m sure I’ll be able to finally rely on this app for my workout tracking.

Just started
Just started using this app and already love it. I love how I was able to adjust everything. Tweak things how I wanted. I love how I was able to add the equipment I have in my garage gym and adjust how many days in the rough time Range I wanna be spending and that I can track everything I’m doing. it’s exactly what I was looking for and I already use the MacroFactor macro tracking app so this just makes it even better I was tracking on a word document I printed out on a clipboard, which is great too to keep me off my phone, but this has been awesome.

Definitely worth while
I honestly did not expect much from a social media influencers work out app I only used it because there was a free trial on it but I have been absolutely blown away by how useful and convenient it is. When you start you tailor make your session by adding exactly what type of work out space you have and exactly what weights and machines you have access too it then creates a workout plan specifically for you and even provides video AND detailed written instructions on how to do each exercise so your never left confused on how to work something. This is a 10/10 app

Lots of current issues, all fixable
The bad: Generally over engineered, unintuitive. Lacks video examples of women performing exercises. Buggy: have lost multiple workout sessions due to workouts getting stuck and unable to complete. Way too many clicks to just see what I did on an exercise last session. Doesn’t tell me the name of the workout in the history logs. Can’t see actual set logs from dashboard. Appears to use some weird rolling window algo to calculate 1rm instead of discrete logged sets so that even when I lift less with the same weight my 1rm goes up for that session. Doesn’t allow you to change your logged set’s weight or reps without resetting rest timer. Exercise naming conventions are precise but hard to recognize on dash board when cutoff: half my exercises just say “Plate-Loaded…” or “Overhand Grip Pin Loaded…” and never get to the only thing I want to see there which is “Shoulder Press” or “Machine Row”. Can’t search for exercises to add to dashboard, must scroll through everything. Impossible to add two of the same exact workout to a single cycle without duplicating it, resulting in duplicating work when adding/removing exercises from that workout. The time estimates for a workout are wildly inaccurate, completely underselling how long a given workout will take. To make a point I plugged in Jeff’s own “45 minute leg routine” and the app guessed it would take 14 minutes. The good: sleek ui. Easily swap exercises during a session. Easy to add/remove sets or exercises during a session. Extremely wide and precise available exercise selection. Easily see number of sets per muscle per week

A great app
Was going to the gym for a while but had no direction. Been using this app for many months now and it’s great, it automatically does progression and has a ton of workouts. Not buggy at all and easy enough to understand after you use it for a bit. Have definitely noticed an improvement in my all around physical fitness. The yearly pro upgrade is worth it for me

Best gains
I used to track my stuff in an excel sheet on my phone. This is sooooo much easier for consistency. It blends the details I needed before with a good looking interface and even built in timers/ estimated total workout times. LOVE THIS APP.

I canceled day one of my two week trail, at the end of that trial I still got a force charged. This app needs reviewed by apple before being allowed to still be on the platform.

No videos?
The descriptions are so long and detailed I get lost and some of the workouts don’t have videos and YouTube vids show different ways of doing them. I a complete beginner so I’m lost. The algorithm picked the workouts for me, I didn’t choose them. Even a diagram would help tbh.
