Dollarwise automatically syncs with your accounts, allowing you to stay on top of your spending, debt, and savings without the anxiety of manual tracking (unless you prefer to!). When you open the app, you'll instantly see exactly how much money you are free to spend, while still staying perfectly on track with your bills, debt, and savings. (Let's be honest, that's the main reason you need a budgeting app in the first place.) Our mindful AI learns your money habits, offering gentle, actionable insights to help you make better choices for you instead of forcing you into a one-size-fits-all box. When it's time to review your spending, simply swipe transactions into basic buckets like Needs, Wants, and Debt/Savings. Need more flexibility? You can now create custom categories to tailor your budget exactly to your lifestyle. Dollarwise makes it easy to see your money clearly and takes the anxiety out of budgeting. Ready to find your financial zen? Try Dollarwise FREE for 3 days, then unlock 3 months for just $9.99/month.

The app is unusable, I want my money back.
This app was good at first, but then it stopped updating my transactions, making it totally unusable. I cannot rely on it to keep track of my money and account balances, so it serves no purpose. I spent $100 to use this for a year and I regret it. I had been in email exchanges with someone from Hammer Media and they stopped responding to me. They should have gotten a handle on this update before making that big announcement because to me, it is a failure, and the app is garbage.

Close But No Cigar.
I like DollarWise and think it has a lot of potential. The app is simple and clean, but there are a few things that need improvement. I’d really like the ability to add small notes to transactions in the activity tab, so I can distinguish purchases from the same store (like hygiene vs. medication at Walmart). Also the live update notifications don’t clear after being confirmed. Even ones that are months old. Credit card payments also display in a confusing way that can throw off account tracking. I’m labeling them as transfers but the app treats them as if I’m receiving a payment/refund. I was also disappointed that I never received any information about the cookbook after submitting proof of my annual subscription. I was looking forward to getting that. Overall, it’s a good app with potential, but it still needs some refinement. I’d recommend trying the monthly subscription before committing to a full year.

Apparently rent doesn’t need to be budgeted for…
I deleted my app and subscription. Really feels like a waste of money. I wanted to like it a lot, but it didn’t track half of our spending. We bought a bunch of new clothes for work those purchases didn’t show up for weeks. Our rent checks didn’t show up at all, the whole time we had the app. Customer support wasn’t helpful, they told me to just wait and see if it showed up. It never did. I can’t sort my spending into categories if there’s no record of it in the app. The linked accounts showed account numbers we didn’t recognize also. I also never received my cookbook. I got a digital version, but no communication about when the physical one would be mailed other than customer support telling me that I did qualify for one and that it might be a few weeks before it showed up. It’s been months. Again, I really wanted to like this app. I like Financial Audit and the good they can accomplish through their media company, but this was a miss. I work hard for my money, and to take $80 to not deliver felt shady.

Still has some bugs
I like the format, however the transactions only showed my savings round ups. I tried refreshing, closing the app and restarting. Nothing, so I cancelled the subscription before it could charge me for it. I might try again if that gets fixed.

Didn’t work
My buddy likes it and I was going to give it a try but when I downloaded it, the app never left the Welcome screen. I tapped and swiped and tried everything to switch the screen, I even waited quite a long time and it never changed. Yes, I do have the latest update and still nothing. Hopefully it works for the next guy but not for me.

Accounts not updating
Wanted to like this app I really did want to give it a try. I love financial audit and am learning to watch expenses. But my accounts weren’t updating for over 2 weeks. My latest transaction is a debit from 6/19. It’s 7/3 as I am writing this. Before that 6/19 transaction it was 6/9 as latest. I verified all my accounts were synced and connected. They all said last updated within the past day-5 days. I cannot put faith in an app that can’t update transactions. Please fix this and I will be coming back. Thank you.

Not bad Not great
Solid app I did appreciate but my bank does do all this already. If Caleb could have it where purchases on certain categories were recurring as that category that would save lots of time when it comes to sorting the transactions and data. I had to classify the same subscriptions or “wasteful” purchases and wants repeatedly and as “other” repeatedly so an option for an autofill would honestly put this over the top IMHO.

Vague budget tracking
Messing around with the DollarWise app for the free trial, and it’s not worth it. Caleb has some improvements to make. You can’t personalize it as much as you think. It’s also focused more on wants/needs/savings with what your spending rather than keeping track of your actual budget (it does, but the generalized categories aren’t very helpful). It’s more important to swipe left and right on wants/needs rather than giving you bigger buttons on which budget category, which I feel like there should be a budget to set up at the beginning of each month that determines your needs, and then as you go throughout the month finding out which payments made the budget and which ones are off budget with “wants” and such? (Idk, a simple, not-thought-through idea from me). The transaction sync has improved, but they are so vague in the information given, I can’t really tell which transactions are which. You guys have the potential for sure, but as of now it’s not up to what I would be paying for.

Does not work as advertised
I’m a fan of the financial audit show and enjoy Caleb Hammer but this app is terrible it show the same charge multiple times doesn’t update account balances in a timely manner I have requested a refund I hope they honor my request.
