  Update is horrible

  The latest update they rolled out is horrible. It seems ever since Webtoons got stock everything in their page is an ad. They locked older series that you’ve paid money for in the past behind daily pass or ad watches. You have to scroll through series you don’t care about to get to your saved series. It’s overall just user adverse and disappointing

  There are so many ads now making this app very off-putting. An ad when you open the ads, countless pop-ups, video pop-ups when you click on a chapter. It’s very annoying.

  Honestly I used the app for awhile but the ads got intrusive. I canceled my membership and now I just steal the chapters because who cares. WEBTOON wants to run ads like that, I’m done supporting.

  Disappointed

  I understand that WEBTOON has grown super popular as of late and it is such an amazing platform that Ive adored for many years, however this new ad situation is slightly disappointing, every single new chapter there’s an ad that takes half the screen. It was one thing when it was every so often but EVERY single time now? It just makes me reluctant to keep using the app. I do wanna mention I’m appreciative that we can still read as it plays, just sad it’s become so excessive.

  Coin Hunter update is confusing

  I’ve been reading WEBTOONs for years and have always loved the free coin challenges to keep reading without spending money. Ever since the update, I can’t even see my ongoing games and have no clue how I’m progressing or when the expiration dates happen. It was way simpler to navigate before and it almost feels like WEBTOON made it harder on purpose to make us spend more money.
