When the time comes, you may also check-in and obtain your boarding documents. As you board your ship, connect to Carnival’s Wi-Fi to view what’s happening, weather, dining menus and more!   What other choice do you have when you’re on ship? I noticed when we tried using it on the 4th of July, it kept kicking me off (WiFi would disconnect). My most recent cruise it would give some notifications of chat (ship horn) from your Home Screen, but other times you’d have to log in and check for chat notifications. As far as accessing carnival’s ship information, it meets the standard. I would love if it had an interactive map to tell you where you were on the ship and perhaps guide you that way. It was very easy to get lost on the excel class ship (celebration).

  I honestly think that carnival needs to give all those who have never been on a cruise before. WiFi free for the first 24 hours because without WiFi nothing works. The app was cool however it was hard to chat on the app. None of my messages went through

  Hub app

  The Hub app was easy to use and laid-out out so info was easy to find. It would have been better if a free chat option between fellow travelers was available instead of at a fee of $5 for each person. Communication between travelers in your party can be considered a safety feature. For the most part the app didn’t drop out even when using in the cabin or out on deck. I am glad to use the app.
