  Great app, but Robinhood Social isn’t working

  10/10 app, great UI/UX and easy to invest/trade. However, wanted to flag that the Robinhood Social banner (with the invite link) isn’t working for me, clicking the link does not open any new screen and I have the latest version of the app. I also received the invite via email, same deal there. Hoping the developers see this! Thanks

  Required iOS 17

  Very disappointed with the recent update. The app now requires iOS 17, which means users with older devices, can no longer access their accounts at all. My phone cannot be updated to iOS 17, and I am effectively locked out of the app despite by being an exit existing customer. While I understand the need to support newer operating systems, completely removing access for users on older device is frustrating. There should be a compatible version available for basic account and trading function.

  New UI forces gambling section at top of portfolio

  I’m trying to use this app to buy and sell stocks but they refuse to stop pushing their casino garbage. Now it’s on top of my portfolio, and I can’t see my first ticker without scrolling by three gambling positions they want me to take. This should be illegal and probably is, and I’m looking forward to Robinhood being prosecuted if we ever have a functioning US government again. There’s zero reason to use this app if you’re not already stuck in their ecosystem, just be an adult and get a Schwab account instead where they will treat you like a customer instead of a potential addict they can convert.

  Unable to withdraw money

  I have been a paying gold customer for 3 years. I am now unable to withdraw my money because the app is broken on my phone and their selfie verification is not working on the computer. So instead of allowing me to talk to a real human on the phone and explain the situation, hopefully allowing me to verify my identity through other means such as phone number or social security, I had to jump through a million hoops. First I had to talk a chatbot for twenty minutes, repeating myself over and over. Finally I was given a supposedly human chat assistant, who still talked using clearly scripted information. Eventually, they told me there was nothing they could do and that we would have to continue over email. No way to talk to anyone on the phone. So now I have over $20k in my account that they are making money off of and I cannot touch. I will need to find another way to pay rent and my credit card bill in the meantime or face extra fees. Atrocious customer service. Any real bank would make it easy to talk to a human.

  HORRIBLE VERIFICATION PROCCESS

  Good luck trading if you can’t even get verified. I’ve been trying for 2 weeks with a completely valid ID and 3 point selfies and they still won’t verify my account. Great service, Robinhood.

  Prediction Markets are a scam

  I’ve noticed they cherry pick temperature readings on weather prediction events. More than 20 times, and yes I’ve kept track, a certain high has hit for Los Angeles and Robinhood will not count that high unless it’s convenient for them. There’s days where certain highs hit multiple times throughout the day and Robinhood doesn’t count it. Then there’s days where a high will literally hit a high for less than 10 minutes, if that, and Robinhood will count it. They’re usually cherry picking highs on the 53 minute mark. Completely bs.

  There’s nothing interesting about Robinhood. I thought that I was going to win extra money in this app but I’ve just been wasting time and effort to try to make money in an app. Yeah ik I had under 1k but there’s people out there that don’t have it like that! Why make a public app for everyone to get and there’s no profit at all even under 1k. Should only apply to wealthy people or people that wanna waste money
